Puppy PawTy Treats

Here’s the recipe for these easy to make: Puppy PawTy Treats

You will need 1 large apple, all natural peanut butter, one banana, baking powder, and 2 eggs!

Chop 1 large apple into small apple chunks, removing core and seeds. Set Aside.

Spray baking pans with a baking spray or line with cupcake liners.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a medium sized bowl, beat 2 eggs and 6 TBSP peanut butter together until smooth.

Mix in chopped up apples and 1 tsp of baking powder.

Fill cupcake pan cavities almost to the top (or use a donut pan for Doggie Donuts).

Bake Times:

Pupcakes baked in a regular sized cupcake pan: set first timer for 16 minutes and then check with a toothpick…if not done add two minutes and repeat until a toothpick comes out clean.

Mini Pupcakes baked in a mini cupcake pan: set first timer for 10 minutes and then check with a toothpick…if not done add two minutes and repeat until a toothpick comes out clean.

Doggie Donuts baked in a donut pan: set timer for 15 minutes and then check with a toothpick…if not done add two minutes and repeat until a toothpick comes out clean.

Once your treats are baked, remove from the oven and let them cool for 3-5 minutes before removing from the pans, then let the treats cool completely.

Frosting:

Make the “frosting” by mashing together 1 banana and mixing in 2 TBSP of peanut butter.

Top the PupCakes that you are going to serve right away with PB frosting and frozen peas or blueberries or other doggie treats right before serving. (I usually only frost 2 and save the rest to “frost” later)

Store your Puppy PawTy Treats in an air tight freezer bag or container and freeze for future treats (remove liners before serving).
